On June 2, the Municipal Waste Management Company AWM München hosted the delegation of waste management experts from Brazil for a "hands-on visit" within the reality of the city. The host was Mr. Frederic Weihberg from AWM. The visitors, Brazilian businessmen from different regions of Brazil, took advantage of the IFAT fair in Munich.

The World's Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management took place from May 30 to June 3, 2022. 2.984 exhibitors and around 119,000 visitors confirmed the fair as the most important platform for environmental technologies.

Greyparrot is tackling a huge problem: waste is the fourth biggest contributor to climate change and to date, there has been limited data on the 2.1 billion tonnes of waste produced each year - meaning there has been limited transparency or accountability for how waste is managed
Since its inception in 2019, the Greyparrot AI-powered computer vision system has analysed over ten billion packaging items in sorting plants to increase recycling rates and introduce accountability to the waste value.

Three triumphant exhibition days and two days full of inspiring conference sessions marked a real success for Europe’s largest platform for the energy industry: 1,356 exhibitors from 46 countries presenting their solutions on 132,000 square meters. More than 65,000 visitors from 149 countries exceeded expectations for this year’s The smarter E Europe – an increase of 33 percent compared to the last regular event in 2019. The next The smarter E Europe is scheduled to June 14–16, 2023.
